Enhanced Provision at Griffin Primary School

At Griffin Primary School, we are proud to offer a range of enhanced provisions alongside our inclusive mainstream offer. Our provisions support children with communication, language and sensory needs who benefit from a smaller, carefully adapted and low-arousal environment, while remaining part of the wider Griffin school community.

Our approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based and child-centred. Provision is personalised around each child's communication, sensory, learning and emotional needs, with a strong focus on developing independence, communication, regulation and readiness for learning.

We use Cherry Gardens Curriculum to create individualised plans and assessments to meet the needs of children working pre-key stage. Across all of our enhanced provisions, we work closely with parents, carers, the Local Authority and external professionals to ensure that provision remains responsive to each child's individual needs. We provide therapeutic support through speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and other healthcare professionals to support each child holistically.
